ALLERGENS AND PHOENIX CARPETING

ALLERGENS AND PHOENIX CARPETING

Dust Mites

A recent study by Quest Diagnostics has come to the conclusion that it is more than a little possible that weather has a great deal to do with this. And, an additional study published in The Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences noted that the “typical” ragweed season was nearly a month longer in 2009 than in 1995, a fact that they believe might very well be due to Climate Change.
To understand why ALLERGENS AND PHOENIX CARPETING is something we should be aware of is that even though they are invisible, allergens are virtually everywhere and tend to accumulate in several places in the home – – including carpets.

What Allergens in your carpeting actually do is provoke allergies, causing you immense discomfort, especially if you are asthmatic! Typically, there are three types of Allergens that people are plagued by:

  •  Dust Mites (Actually their fecal matter, not the Mites themselves)
  •  Pet Dander
  •  Pollen

These include:

  •  Vacuuming frequently, at least twice a week with a quality vacuum.
  •  Having your carpets professionally cleaned frequently, preferably every six months.

“Of course,” Brown added, “if this is paramount issue for you and your family, you may need to consider replacing carpet with wood, stone, or ceramic tile flooring.”
